As a sculptress, I work within a static medium. Digital tools allow me to explore more kinetic forms, extending sculpture beyond the fixed object.
Universal Venus
Drawn from the diversity of Prehistoric Venus figures, Universal Venus transforms differences into a shared form through the encounter of human and technological intelligences. By training an AI model on a vast dataset of Prehistoric Venuses, the machine acts as a morphogenetic collaborator, synthesizing one of our oldest surviving art forms.
Presented as a dialogue between a carved stone artifact and a dreaming machine, the installation anchors generative AI in the deepest archaeological roots of human creativity, reactivating a lineage of female representations shaped by plurality rather than normative ideals of beauty.

Coddess Variations
Coddess Variations (2024–2025) is an interdisciplinary project, developed with the Opéra national de Paris. Combining sculpture, choreography, film, and blockchain technology, it transforms a live dance performance into 100 unique digital artifacts on chain.
The project explores the relationship between the physical body, movement, and digital preservation, connecting ancient forms of sculpture with contemporary technologies.

Embodiment is a series created during the Glitch Residency using the Alias Studio, trained on images from my past performances. These performances merged sculpture, movement, dance, and mythology, forming an embodied practice that I extended into digital interpretation.
The resulting figures are shaped by both human memory and machine learning. By reinterpreting this archive, they recall ancestral Goddess forms, voluptuous and ritualistic.
In an era where bodies are turned into data, shaped into ideals, or erased altogether, these digital embodiments challenge ideas of control and perfection. They create a space where memory, individuality, and the sensuality of the body can exist beyond algorithmic norms.
AI becomes a collaborator in reclaiming the body, not as something fixed, but as something constantly changing and performative.

In Paris, artist Hermine Bourdin blends cave art with digital art.
For her first solo exhibition at Galerie Julie Caredda, *Axis Mundi*, Hermine Bourdin transforms herself into a Paleolithic Venus, attempting to capture the very essence of femininity by combining prehistoric sources with digital technologies. It is a body of work straddling the line between photography, performance, and digital art — on view until October 7.
